Our two lottery funded projects researched the history of this fascinating and unique village, created a heritage centre, a village heritage trail, a series of inter-village heritage walks, several videos and four booklets. These were accompanied with many community and school activities to raise the heritage profile of our beloved village. In Wellow you will find a rare dyke that encompasses the village, a permanent maypole and many other unique features.
